STUDENT, did you read
     the sign?
One day I was riding my bicycle when I
saw one sign at the middle of the
street. Suddenly, I thought in a great
                 story.
“ One day me and
 two of my friends
(Miranda and Rosa
   Enriquez) were
 riding our bikes in
 the neighborhood
and we stop on the
  corner because a
  sign was there”.
“We saw a guy who was traveling so fast
and we thought that he would slow
down, but he didn’t. The worst of all
was that a little girl almost cross the
street, so the child got scared about it.
         And we saw everything”.
After that, we prepared a talk for
our students. We went to a coffe
            shop and discussed it.
In class, I asked to my students if
they knew the traffic signs that
    were on the streets. They
          answered “no”.
And that’s the reason
 why we prepared an
activity. A simulation of
       a free way.

                      So everybody
                       was in his/her
                       own car and
                        they had to
                        participate.
In lines, teenagers had to start the
  ride, meanwhile the teacher had
to show them a sign and they act
that they are driving their cars.
If they didn’t know it they had an
infraction and at the end of the
     sesion they would pay it.
Importance of Traffic Signs
The main reason why these signs are
available on the road is because of
SAFETY. Traffic signs make sure that
all drivers are aware of the rules and
the dangers on the road. Without these
signs, accidents may occur more often.
These signs also warn the drivers of
the potential dangers that can be
        encountered on the roads.
