Developing Branch Managers to be super performers
Workshop on Leadership, Management and Strategic Planning for Branch Managers
Most of the Branch Managers that you have newly appointed may have been good
performers in sales and other functions of the organization. Promoting current employees
to management positions for their achievements in sales and other skills has many benefits
to employers. Along with rewarding loyalty and retaining someone who is a cultural fit.
Further, there is also a financial benefit as promoted employees do not need to go through
an onboarding process and can make a quicker impact in their new role within the company
than a new hire.
However, you may have observed that there are challenges as an employee transitions from
peer to manager. Just because they have a new leadership title does not necessarily mean
they know how to do the job. Not receiving proper training or helping with the transition
could set up a new manager for failure.
With a new title comes new responsibilities. That could be a big adjustment for an employee
who is used to being given a task and completing it on their own. What matters for a
company is developing them to become managers, their new responsibilities, managing
staff and leading the branch and work on a strategic plan to achieve targets. Many who do
well in sales and other areas do not do well in managerial positions if they are not groomed
well to be leaders. Therefore, this workshop will let them know the importance of new
responsibilities, attitudes needed to work as managers/leaders and lead staff and also to
work on a strategic plan to achieve sales.
Especially designed for Branch Managers of Finance Companies, Banks, Insurance
Companies, Electronic and Household Goods, Clothing/Textile and Furniture Dealers etc.
Following topics will be covered through lectures, discussions, exercises and videos on an
interactive learning environment.

effectively take control and management- lecture and a discussion
2. Skills needed to develop in the modern working environment to be a super Branch
