Graphic files can be either raster images made of pixels or vector images defined by mathematical equations. Image resolution refers to quality and sharpness, determined by pixel number and color depth. There are two main formats - vector images maintain crisp quality at any size while raster/bitmap are common on the internet and in digital photos. Composition techniques involve arranging graphic design elements, photos, and other parts to enhance viewer experience through rules like dividing the image into thirds, using odd numbers of elements, and limiting distractions to focus on the primary subject.
