and fraction into decimal

Materials: 2 Circles, Pen, Pencil
Duration: 30 minutes
Outcome:
By the end of this activity, pupils should
be able to:
 Convert fraction to decimal
 Convert decimal to fraction
Procedure:
1) Cut two circles with 10 cm and 9 cm
of radius then make 10 equal parts of
them
2) Write 1/10 on one side of the first
circle and 0.1 to the other side of the
second circle.
3) Now, cut the one side of the circle till
centre of the circle
4) Adjust this circle as shown in video
like face opposite to each other.

Extension activity:
Follow the same procedure for another
model

circle and 0.01 to the other side of
the second circle.
3) Now, cut the one side of the circle till
centre of the circle
4) Adjust this circle as shown in video
like face opposite to each other.
5) Repeat the steps to convert fraction
into decimal and vice versa.
