Where are we going? Most startups overestimate potential while at the same time having a too narrow understanding of the customer, other cultures and the future landscape of the industry ecosystem. This presentation share three tools to think wider and smarter about the future. In 1980s the movie back to the future took us 30 years into the future to 2015. Now is the the to rethink where we are going in the coming 30 years.

The future is now. You can be part of building it; it’s easy! Just listen to people and build something that can help them. The cost to building something has never been this low. If you are not building it your self you should at least know the disruptive landscapes. Martin goes trough technology in different stages such as wearables, computer machine interface and autonomous vehicles. But the final point is that you just need a small flic smart button for $35 to start this journey of exploration.

This presentation was done in september 2014 and moderated by Robin Teigland for Novare Young executive program that is run by Investor AB, a Swedish investment company, founded in 1916 and controlled by the Wallenberg family.
The document discusses the transition from the first Industrial Revolution to the second Industrial Revolution. Some key aspects of this transition include moving from being fossil fuel dependent to being nature dependent, from centralized systems to distributed and smart systems, from mass production to mass connection, and from prioritizing profits to prioritizing sustainability and human needs.
