This document outlines the academic plan and subject descriptions for the Faculty of Economics at Aleppo University. It provides the semester schedules, subjects, and weekly hours over four years of study. Descriptions are given for subjects in the first, second, third, and fourth years, covering topics such as computer science, management, economics, statistics, accounting, programming languages, and information systems.
Krityanand UNESCO Club Jamshedpur invites applications for position of Academic Intern in the field of Applied Economics (Engineering Economics) Area from young and qualified personnel. Applied economics is the application of core theoretical economics and econometrics to answer questions in a wide range of fields. The Applied Economics Program prepares students for employment opportunities in the public and private sector and for further graduate study. This rigorous but flexible program includes core coursework in economic theory and quantitative methods and offers opportunities for specialized coursework and research fields. This is a course for non-economists. Students will learn the conceptual-empirical basis of economic reasoning and the quantitative methods essential to address important policy problems and debates of our day such as climate change and inequality. It can be viewed as an introduction to the distinctive way economists think and analyses problems. In this course, we encourage students to learn economics by doing economics. Students will gain hands-on experience to use real world data to understand economic questions.
The article is devoted to the problem of development and application of information
technologies in the strategic management of industrial enterprises under uncertainty
based on mathematical modeling. The purpose of the article is to develop tools that
support decision-making when choosing strategic guidelines for the development of
enterprises using economic and mathematical methods. The study of the system of
strategic management of industrial enterprises, which has the property of development,
based on the application of the methodology of system analysis. A model of the strategic
management process in the form of a logical structure containing a combined decisionmaking
procedure for solving problems, ranging from the study of the environment and
the development of the mission, and ending with the creation of economic and
mathematical tools and its use to evaluate decisions. The economic and mathematical
tools to support decision-making on the strategic guidelines for the development of
industrial enterprises in the conditions of stochastic uncertainty. As the characteristics
of the cost-effectiveness of strategies selected measure of profitability

Dimensions of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems Success in Public and Priv...paperpublications3
Abstract: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have been adopted and implemented in the Kenyan higher education sector, with their success being described in many ways that one. Empirical studies have identified Quality, use, and benefits dimensions as suitable descriptors of success of ERP systems. This study used the results of a cross-sectional survey conducted in selected public and private universities in Kenya, coupled with theories and literature from existing Information System (IS) success models, to examine the effect of these dimensions on success of ERP systems. An understanding of ERP systems success dimensions will help to appreciate how each dimension fit in the higher education sector and provide a basis from which mitigation mechanisms can be employed to ensure success. There is need for universities to match their expectations on ERP systems with efficiency, assurance, accuracy, coupled with good support service by experienced professionals that will ensure the desired level quality is guaranteed. Engaging end-users during implementation and providing adequate training to employees have a direct impact on productive use of the ERP system. In addition, universities also need to define the strategic goals clearly before embarking on implementation, such that the process can always be steered towards the realization of benefits associated with the ERP system.
