Employment History 
July 2014 to Present 
Worked in HMP Birmingham for NG Bailey/BT Group as the site lead installing cat 5e cables to every cell, (650 cells) using new and 
existing containment. Pulled in two fibre rings to support the network, installed 12 cabinets, terminated and tested all off the above. 
Oct 2013 to Feb 2014 
Worked at Bordon Army Barracks as the site lead installing Wi-Fi throughout the camp. Works included, installing new containment, 
pulling in a fibre backbone to each location, installed 16 cabinets and 14 catinary wires, pulling in cat 5e cable and terminating and 
testing all off the above.
June 2013 to Oct 2013 
Working at Bristol University as a site supervisor. Duties include ensuring correct health and safety is carried out by daily briefings, 
tool box talks and site walks. Liasing with other agencies to ensure the smooth roll out of over 4000 copper/fibre data outlets. Working 
with a workforce of 8 - 10 men on a daily basis issuing daily tasks to complete. Testing and collating all test results. 
Feb 2012 to Feb 2013 
Worked in London on LGFL. (London Grid for Learning). Duties include working on live networks, proving and creating fibre routes 
from VM Hubs/Exchanges to schools throughout the London Borough. Terming and testing fibre. This work is carried out as a 2 man 
team working alone out in the field. Job packs were sent via e-mails. Teams complete the job pack then send back reports/updates 
along with test results. 
2009 to 2012 Site Lead 
Working mainly on the DII project (Defence Information Infrastructure) alongside companies such as ATLAS, EDS, NTL, CHM Hill, 
Electranet, Albion and Threlbuild Ltd. 
Duties including the smooth roll out of major computer network installations including backbone structured cabling and all associated 
activities. 
2002 to 2009 
 Worked as a team member, learning and installing infrastructure, and cabling for computer networks. 
 Carried out DII site surveys on military sites in UK, Northern Ireland and Germany. 
 Overseen & carried out site installations supervising teams and controlling operations to ensure completion to a high 
standard.
