About Harry Potter
Harry Potter is a 10-year-old wizard who attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. His parents were killed by the dark wizard Voldemort when Harry was a baby. Harry's two best friends at Hogwarts are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Ron comes from a large magical family and helps Harry through his adventures. Hermione is the most intelligent student and spends a lot of time in the library. Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster of Hogwarts and supports Harry. Voldemort is Harry's enemy who killed his parents and wants to kill all muggles and non-pureblood wizards.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone introduces Harry Potter, who lives with his cruel Aunt and Uncle because his parents were killed. Hagrid informs Harry that he is a wizard and takes him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts, Harry makes friends and enemies as he learns he is a wizard. The story is simply told but still enchanting, with crisp language and easily visualized characters that appeal to both children and adults.

- 4. CHARACTERS THESE ARE THE CHARACTERS OF THE STORY. Harry Potter: kind, eager, unpredictable. He is the main character of the story. He never had a birthday party in 11 years. Hermione Granger: [really] smart , complete know-it-all. She is the main female character in the story . She spends most of her time reading books. Ron Weasley : good friend, kind. He is known as a friend of the main characters. He collects Chocolate Frogs trading cards.
- 5. PROBLEM Gryffindor[Harry Potter’s class] has less points than Slytherin [Draco Malfoy’s class]. They want more points than Slytherin because at the end of the year, the one class who has more points will be Celebrated by Albus Dumbledore.
- 8. CLOSING I am interested in the next book in the series because, the author did a great job making the reader feel like he/she is Harry Potter himself/herself. I wonder why she was so famous when my brother was reading this book. Now I know. I enjoyed this book and I recommend should read it too. Book report: Derek Ahn
