Pfr (phytochrome far red) is always the active form of phytochrome, but the function is different in long day plants and short day plants. Pfr promotes flowering in LDPs but inhibits flowering in SDPs.

The University trained over 200 teachers on the platform and created over 900 courses on it, covering bachelor's and master's degree programs across 6 faculties. Student enrollment on courses totaled over 2,000. The project aimed to develop distance learning infrastructure and resources at the University. Student surveys found that most had no difficulties customizing their login, navigating course content, or customizing system settings on the new Blackboard Learn platform. The implementation of the e-learning system appeared to be successful overall.
