This document discusses the Snap-Tite HDPE culvert lining system from Denco Highway. It describes common culvert failures from corrosion, joint separation, and rotting inverts. The Snap-Tite system provides an easily repaired lining solution for these issues. Made from HDPE, it is corrosion and abrasion resistant with a design life of 100 years. Snap-Tite liners are custom made in sizes from 6 to 63 inches in diameter and lengths up to 50 feet.

CORROSION
Snap-Tite HDPE Pipe is
corrosion resistant which
makes it ideal for drainage
of hostile effluents, such as
acid rain, road salts, fuels
and motor oil.
ULTRAVIOLET (UV) STABILIZERS
2% Carbon Black is used in
HDPE for UV protection.
ABRASION
HPDE pipe has demonstrated
wear rates up to 10x less than steel.
HDPE was originally designed for
use in the aggregate mining industry
which is a highly abrasive industry
on pipes. HDPE was chosen because
of its high resistance to abrasion of
materials traveling through it.
