BERO™ biosurfactant will attach to the inner wall of the pipe, prolonging was
clearing period, improving pump efficiency and coefficient of production time
and extending workover-free period. In addition, compared with flushing fluid
composed of other components, BERO™ biosurfactant will not do harm to
reservoir and crude oil dehydration and sewage treatment systems.
Cleaning applicable to block reservoir and improvement of water
flooding efficiency
As for secondary oil recovery and tertiary oil recovery technologies, polymer
flooding and water flooding are commonly used in worldwide; however, with
the application of various methods and expansion of fields, problems are
continuously revealed. For instance, as for polymer flooding, slow dissolution,
shear degradation, thermal degradation, oxidative degradation, high salinity of
formation water and the like will result in polymer consumption. In addition, it
has been found out that due to various factors, polymer may cause new
pollution, plugging and the like in the formation close to well during polymer
flooding. Therefore, polymer flooding is restricted to different extents when
applied in the block. Comparatively speaking, water flooding is more
commonly used due to lower cost and simpler process, but water injection
wells often have the problem of under injection, thus affecting the development
effect of reservoirs. As for under-injected wells, reservoirs have poor physical

restricted by plugging in the late period due to substandard quality of injected
water, corrosion of injection and production system, solid particles and scaling;
therefore, it is the inevitable choice for the block, which has been developed by
adopting water injection, to improve water flooding efficiency in order to ensure
stable production of oilfields.
When used for clean treatment of reservoirs and oil displacement, BERO™
biosurfactant can effectively lower the water injection pressure of water
injection well, improve water injection profile and achieve very remarkable
plugging removal and injection reduction effect. Since BERO™ biosurfactant
has the same density with water and is completely soluble in water, it can
increase sweep area when, together with injected water, passes a water
injection well and moves towards a production well and rapidly release the
crude oil adhered to the rock in the way where it passes; meanwhile, part of
BERO™ biosurfactant is adsorbed on rock surface to lower the interfacial
tension and surface tension, changes the wettability of rock and forms new oil
outlet passages in the formation to allow released crude oil to smoothly flow to
the wellhead with water; moreover, emulsion formed through the biological
reaction of oil, water, enzyme, enzyme-based ferment is viscous, thus affecting
the original water flowing passages, forcing water flow to find more new
passages and flooding more crude oil to the bottom of production well.
In addition, BERO™ biosurfactant can protect water injection wells and the
biological mechanism of BERO™ biosurfactant enables the degradation and
restoration of sewage, pollution and organic deposits. In addition, it will not
produce other new product, so it will not plug pores or cause secondary
pollution. BERO™ biosurfactant improves the conditions of the block and
water injection wells through treatment, lowers the consumption of energy
source and machinery and effectively improves oil recovery rate, thereby
enabling reservoir cleaning, plugging agents removal and injection reduction of
waterflooding, oil displacement of the block and stimulation of production
wells.
