3. Introduction
 The Defence Authority Country & Golf Club is spread over approximately 140
Acres. An 18 hole par 72 course with a total yardage of 6693 was initially
designed by Mr. Donald Steel. The front nine holes were opened on 28 April 1997
and the back nine on 30 August 1998.
 Later on, the Clubhouse and the Administration block were constructed in
January 2001. The Golf Course has been redeveloped to USGA Standard with
night golfing facility and an automatic irrigation system. The present yardage of
the course has been increased to 7120 to meet international standards.

• The DA Country & Golf Club offers one
of its kind Resort Chalet for members
and the guests. 14 Single and 06 Double
rooms. Chalets offer privacy of your
home and luxury of a 5 star hotel.
• All the rooms are offered
complimentary breakfast in the room,
complimentary news paper every
morning, fruit basket on arrival and
complimentary use of Club's main
swimming pool, Gymnasium and squash
courts.

• Their menu is designed to suite people of all
tastes, whether you prefer local fusion or the
finest international cuisines.

9. Swimming
• Dive in the cool water and feel your body relax
as it gets immediate respite from heat and
stress.
• In winters, the swimming pool welcomes you

pools offer ultimate relaxation, fun and fitness.
• They have independent swimming pools for
ladies, gents and kids.

10. Function Hall
• Functions hall has a capacity to accommodate 700 people
and is the ideal place for hosting events such as wedding
receptions, dinners and parties.
• It has a separate, dedicated entrance and exit which gives a
feel of exclusivity to their guests. The Hall can be decorated
according to their preference or the theme of our event to
give it a personalized touch.
• Their staff will guide and help us throughout the planning
and execution phases. They are committed to ensure that
our event is everything that we planned it to be and even
BETTER!
• Open area with a capacity of 600 people is also available for
reservation.

11. Convention Hall
• A wonderful addition to the Club's facilities is the newly
built Convention Center.
• The main hall can accommodate 1500 guests in theater
style seating and can be subdivided into three portions.
• Each hall is equipped with projection rooms with separate
entrance where the presentations can be projected onto
the main screen with out bothering the audience
• All the secretarial needs of the Conference or meeting can
be met at their Business Centre equipped with latest
brand computers connected with high speed internet,
laser printers, fax & photocopier for the organizers and
delegates requirements.

12. Gymnasium
• Gym facility has a relaxed and welcoming environment
powered by the latest equipment, empowering you to
get the most out of your exercise regimen.
• Whether you are a casual gym user or a regular user,
their gym will support you in achieving your fitness
goals.
• You can also avail the facility of personal lockers in the
locker room, to store your gym attire and other
valuables.

They take pride in our 18-hole golf course but they also
