Real time Vital Signs Monitorong Using NI LabVIEWTalha Patel
ABSTRACT
It is undeniable that nowadays people are more aware of the health conditions. One of the most widely used methods to test the health conditions of an individual is to measure user blood pressure, oxygen level and heart rate. There is a huge market for non-invasive methods of measurement of these vital signs. The objective of this project is to design a algorithm in a well known NI platform (NI LabVIEW), which can easily be used with cheap, low powered and non-intrusive sensors. This project specifically deals with the data acquisition and signal conditioning of three vital signs: blood pressure, oxygen level and heart rate and also with the designing of sensors to acquire them and interfacing them with NI Data Acquisition System (DAQ). The theory, design procedures, experimental results and discussions of these systems are presented.
AIM AND OBJECTIVE
The aim of this project is to design a new algorithm to measure three biological parameters (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate & Pulse Oximetry SpO2) together using VI LabVIEW. It provides data acquisition system for collection, management, control and analysis of these parameters.
To obtain this objective four things are required to work properly which are given below:
1. To acquire vital signs (physiological parameters) using biosensors.
2. To interface the obtained data with NI DAQ System which converts it into digital format.
3. To link the DAQ System with NI LabVIEW and design an algorithm to measure real time data in graphical interface.
4. Finally, to design & develop a graphical user interface in LabVIEW to display the outputs.
These slides use concepts from my (Jeff Funk) course entitled analyzing hi-tech opportunities to show how mobile devices are becoming more economically feasible for health care. Rapid improvements in electronics are enabling a wide variety of health-related attachments to become available for mobile phones. These attachments can analyze breath, blood oxygen levels, blood glucose, blood type, and urine and do ultrasounds. These advances will change the way health care is monitored and managed.
IRJET - An Efficient Approach for Monitoring the Patient’s Condition usin...IRJET Journal
This document describes a system that uses augmented reality and sensors to monitor patient conditions in a hospital. Sensors attached to patients measure body parameters like temperature, heartbeat, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and activity levels. A PIC microcontroller collects the sensor data and sends it wirelessly via ZigBee protocol to an augmented reality glass worn by doctors. This allows doctors to view real-time patient data directly through the glasses to monitor for any abnormal conditions and take appropriate action to treat patients. The system aims to enhance the operating environment for doctors and help them more efficiently access latest patient information and diagnostics.

Plug In Generator To Produce Variant Outputs For Unique Data.IJRES Journal
Our modern world comprising of abundant chronic diseases which are affecting humankind, awful thing is that they affect the people without being notified until the end. In this project we proposed a system in which the user identifies the disease by providing the symptoms which he is experiencing. The user selects the multiple symptoms which he/she is suffering and submits them for evaluation using String Matching System. The database consists of limited number of diseases, with well organized pattern structure of symptoms. Using a friendly interface, user can input the data in the questionnaire form developed. Artificial Bee Colony Optimization [ABC] algorithm, i.e., a Machine Learning algorithm embedded in the project provides an optimistic disease along with its prevention and curing methods, but before ABC produces optimistic disease, String Matching System approach gives an accurate disease with which the human is suffering from. The above said data transformed into web can be considered as an offline browsing system which can be used by any educated personalities, to generally know what is happening and gets enough idea before visiting the practitioner.
This document summarizes a study on how information and communication technologies are used in the health field in Portugal. It finds that most doctors and nurses use the internet, especially for diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and accessing patient records. Pharmacists also widely use technologies like email and SMS. The study surveyed professionals and users, finding general support for technology use but also challenges in integrating it fully into practices and policies. It concludes that information technologies are increasingly important in healthcare, but their adoption depends on high-quality, easy-to-use content and the guidance of medical professionals.
Congenital Disorder in the Fetal Development of a Live Birth using Rule Based...IJMTST Journal
Congenital disorder is a condition existing at or before birth regardless of cause. Of these diseases, those characterized by structural deformities are termed "congenital anomalies" and involve defects in a developing fetus. Birth defects vary widely in cause and symptoms. Any substance that causes birth defects is known as a teratogen. Some disorders can be detected before birth through prenatal diagnosis It is caused due to some genetically disorder, environmental or drug exposure. The aim of the paper is to find the proportion of the population of congenital disorder. The inference engine helps in finding the new conclusion referencing to knowledge base and conclude using inference engine. The proposed system looks after the infant and the maternal information and draws some conclusion about the occurrence of the congenital disorder. This type of experiments should be conducted all over the world so that the death dates of infants can be reduced and proper medications and care can be taken in order to prevent disorders in prior.

This document summarizes a feasibility study on remotely monitoring vital signs of elderly patients in the community. The study found that a simple telemonitoring system using Bluetooth-enabled devices to automatically upload health data and send alerts was easy for elderly patients to use independently. Over a 3-month trial with 30 patients, the system achieved a high 90% adoption rate and 9.2% alert rate, with 0.44% of alerts leading to medical interventions. Both patients and doctors found the system useful and it increased patients' healthcare awareness. The study concluded remote monitoring is a feasible approach that could be incorporated into electronic health records to facilitate earlier diagnosis and improved chronic disease management.
The document proposes developing a system called the Layer Bird Vaccination Monitoring & Disease Detection System. This system would help small-scale layer poultry farmers in Zimbabwe track vaccinations, monitor treatments, and detect diseases early using data visualization and machine learning models. The system aims to address challenges small-scale farmers face like a lack of record keeping, monitoring of bird health, and limited access to veterinary support. It would allow farmers to enter bird symptom data and get recommendations to prevent losses from diseases.
