2. Looking at what I have done
already…
When looking at what I have done
already I noticed that most of the covers
were of her face and it was too much.
What I decided to do was remove this
image
3. Replacing it with…
Ichoose to keep this image
as it was a better image and
The birds I added to the
image
highlight
the artists
journey and
how she is
called
Birdy.
4. Making the back cover
authentic…
To
ensure the album looks realistic I had to
make sure to include: - a list of the tracks
on the album
- a barcode
- copyright sign and
information
- make the writing
look eligible.
5. What I did and why?
I desaturated the image to remove all the colour
as I decided to have the whole album in black
and white to enhance Birdy’s sad story and lyrics.
I cropped the image as I wanted the last thing the
viewer to look at would be a close-up picture of
the artist.
Birdy’s real name is Jasmine Van Den Bogaerde.
She got the name Birdy as when she was a baby
she opened her mouth like a little bird. I placed
birds in the sky and rotated them and changed
the scale to enhance Birdy’s name.
