Social domain theory involves hospitality for social welfare. Private domain involves service for non-regular private guests. Commercial domain involves service for profit. Domain theory is the base theory of hospitality and is widely used in sectors like tourism and healthcare. It is considered the basic and founding theory of the modern hospitality industry.
