this presentation on the topic “Debate On
Domain Theory Of Hospitality” Which
helped me to increase my general knowledge
and also helped to know more about domain
theory of hospitality and I am Yuvraj Balami
with my classmate Suman, Sandeep and
Samik Shrestha where we are talking about
domain theory in its positive sides.
Introduction to domain theory
 domain theory of hospitality was propounded
in 2000 which was given by Lashley and
Morrison, contain three basic theory of
hospitalities i.e.
 Social domain theory> providing hospitality for
social welfare or social work
 Private domain theory> providing service of
hospitality for private guest but not regular
 Commercial domain theory> providing service
for reason

 Domain theory is the base theory of hospitality
 It is widely used in every sector of hospitality
and service i.e. tourism sector, medical sectors
etc
 As it is the base theory of hospitality can also
be called the basic theory of hospitality
 Is the main reason for the present situation of
hospitality

 The domain theory has always been helpful for
the growth of hospitality in modern days
 Either the concept of hospitality has changed
but still the large percent of hospitality
depends on it
conclusion
 Since domain theory is the base theory of
hospitality it is the key for the present condition
of hospitality
 As there would be no son if there is no father
so there would not be hospitality without
domain theory
 In fact those hospitality which does not use
domain theory then they cannot be regarded
as hospitality industries
