2. Overview
• The project aims to build a web application to
buy books online.
• The aim of the project is to provide effective
tools to maintain the book store system.

3. Actors Involved
• Manager can maintain the web application by,
-Check stock
-Update stock
-Add a book
-Modify book
-Delete book
-Order details
• Customers can search and buy a book.

4. Security
• MD5 – The password is protected by using
MD5 security algorithm.
• MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) is a widely
used cryptographic hash function with a 128-
bit hash value. As an Internet standard (RFC
1321), MD5 has been employed in a wide
variety of security applications, and is also
commonly used to check the integrity of files.

that we provide.

14. Conclusion
• We think that our project has all the features
that are required for a online book store.
• Also, we think that the user interface that we
provided is quite user friendly and simple.
