This document outlines learning outcomes for a class on management and the changing global economy. It will cover topics like waves of social history, a global perspective on management, how technology is changing managers' jobs, different business models (e-business, e-commerce, e-organization), social responsibility, entrepreneurship, workforce diversity, work-life balance concepts, downsizing, customer-focused culture, and continuous improvement. Frameworks for assessing cross-cultural differences like Hofstede's and GLOBE are also introduced.
