Solving Exact Values
Given cos    = -1, determine the exact value of sin
                2
for 180o <   < 360o




If tan θ = - 1, given    <θ<      , find sec θ




 If csc θ = 2 and tan < 0 find all 5 other trig ratios
ex. Find    over the interval [0,   ] if cos = -   and tan > 0




ex. Find    over the interval [0o,180o] if sin =    and cos < 0
General Solutions of Trig Eqns
Solve for    sin = 1
                   2
        [0,2 ]




        [0,4   ]




 Also reads "over the reals       where the domain is
   the set of all real numbers"
The answer is called the general solution for a trig eqn
