Some men brought a paralyzed man to Jesus to heal him. Unable to get through the crowd, they lowered the man through the roof on his mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he forgave the man's sins. The Pharisees questioned who could forgive sins but God, but Jesus proved his authority to forgive sins by also healing the paralyzed man.
'And Jacob was left alone, and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, let me go, for the day breaketh, And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.' Gen. 32: 24 - 26

Jesus' Passion Through the Eyes of John_Resurrection WitnessesStephen Palm
This Easter Sermon is part of the series: Jesus' Passion Through the Eyes of John. In this sermon we focus on some of the unique elements that John brings forward, such as the Foot Race between Peter and John as they raced towards the empty tomb. We also consider how the use of female witnesses in a Jewish world that deemed them to be unreliable actually adds credence to the authenticity of the gospel accounts.
Encountering Jesus on the road to Emmaus, and the lesson we can learn from the two disciples' experience. Encouragement to be open in encountering Jesus on our life journey, and a call to get involved in Emmaus Road Life Groups.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Day #26
1. LUKE 5:18
Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and
tried to take him into the house to lay him before
Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this
because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and
lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the
middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
2. 5:20
When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins
are forgiven.“
21
The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began
thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who
speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God
alone?“
3. 5:22
Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are
you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier:
to say, `Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, `Get up and walk'?
24
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority
on earth to forgive sins. . . ." He said to the paralyzed man,
"I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home." 25
Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he
had been lying on and went home praising God.
