David McCourt has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and management. Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. - Westminster, MD - February 1987 to December 2015
Founded in 1987, MTECH invented, designed, manufactured and implemented custom automation systems
and simpler machines. My involvement was owner, inventor, mechanical design, electrical design and hiring
machinists, fabricators, welders, etc. I developed our own products including adhesive dispensing machines,
xy equipment, mattress automation equipment. Developed products for other companies, prototyping, etc..
Worked with customer's engineering departments redesigning their products for ease of manufacturing.
MTECH had between 7 and 15 employees depending on work load. We were also involved with metal
fabrication for many customers.
Many success stories and pictures. Customers included: Kohler, Lear Corporation (3 plants, automotive
assembly), Simmons Mattress, Serta, Temper Pedic, Foamex, Rubbermaid, Black and Decker, Electrical Test
Instruments, White Oak Semiconductor, Hohmann and Bernard, Random House, many many more.
