2. OurTeam
Launched in 2012, Davey Bickford’s Global
Technical Solutions (GTS) team was created
to deliver new and innovative ways of value
generation through technology in blasting.
Since then, GTS has provided technical-
economic solutions to select clients through
the optimisation of blast design and
implementation processes, exercising a
carefully engineered influence over the
various outcome aspects of any given blast
event.
Since then, the team has grown to
encompass more than 20 members, all
engineers with experience profiles ranging
from recent graduates to nearly 30 years in
the field of blast research and engineering.
The team now covers six countries operating
on five continents, working with a client
base that varies from local small contractors,
medium-sized mining companies to global
mining houses alike.

experience in various aspects of the blast

3. The Davey Bickford GTS team has significant combined
expertise in both underground (including tunnelling) and
surface drill and blast operations, covering the production of
gold/silver, base metals, industrial materials (cement,
aggregates), coal and even talc. Some of our current GTS
projects include the provision of :

engage with them in many different formats throughout the
world. We work closely with the key customer personnel to
adapt a model that works for the site. Our dedicated group of
Blast Technical Support (BTS) personnel can be deployed on
site to directly assist is blasting duties and measurement.
