VTScada provides several enterprise connectivity tools to allow sharing of real-time system data with third party systems. The ODBC server allows industry standard reporting tools to extract tag data from VTScada. The OPC server and client enable two-way exchange of live process data between VTScada and OPC compliant devices and software. Web services configure VTScada to allow business applications to retrieve data and request actions via SOAP interfaces over a network.

With Oracle, they just couldn't do it.
Despite collecting tens of billions of records, only 3 billion could be uploaded in the DWH and used for analysis; moreover, the night processes feeding the DWH often did not end before noon and queries were not as rapid as necessary. Migrating from Oracle to Sadas Engine allowed for incredibly better performances at dramatically reduced costs: the DWH could ceaselessly grow to more than 40 billion records, and it is still growing!
