Data literacy as the ability to understand and use
data effectively to inform decisions. It is composed
of a specific skill set and knowledge base that
enables educators to transform data into
information and ultimately into actionable
knowledge (Mandinach & et -al, 2008).

requires sophisticated analytical tools that
process text in order to glean specific
keywords or key data points from what are
considered relatively raw or unstructured
formats

Linked data (often capitalized as Linked
Data) is structured data which is
interlinked with other data so it becomes
more useful through semantic queries.
Open Linked Data
Linked Open Data is a powerful blend of Linked Data and
Open Data: it is both linked and uses open sources.
