*in present organization I am looking after overall procurement of project material for
Greenfield project of polyesters for continuous polymer plant of CTI, china similar to zimmer
and dupont technology for poy and dty and psf yarn as final products.
I am handling sourcing of chemicals like
PTA,MEG,TIO2,SPINFINISH OILS,THERMIC FLIUDES,BRIGHT CHIPS ETC AS OUR MAIN RAW
MATERIALS. The value of bulk chemicals and material handled is upto the tune of rs 150 crores
Per month in present organization
I am responsible for arranging CHA agents for import of bulk chemicals from overseas suppliers
from , China, Korea, Germany and other locations.
When I was in Rama news print and papers ltd. I was responsible for procurement of raw
materials like , h2so4,hcl,talcum powder, caustic soda lye and flakes, lime, resins for bonding
purpose of newsprint etc.
• Targeted vendor development of Japanese component as per drawing in Indian market.
• Cos reduction by value engineering and negotiation with own costing of materials etc.
In all the organization I worked this is my core competency.
• I have an experience working as EPC procurement expert for green field projects and
procured all project related items like cement,steel,equipmentS for constructions
activity,capax and opex items for green field projects.
• Attended special training of SAP mm module for one week.
• Handled e-procurement of bulk materials and chemicals in Essar projects ltd
• Import substitution of items of vital nature and saving of huge cost as compared to import.
• Inventory control by lead-time evaluation and calculating min max levels of items and
