The packet outlines various sponsorship levels and benefits, which include recognition in marketing materials, tickets to the event, and opportunities to support miracle families. It also shares the story of Vann Edwards, a miracle child treated at the hospital, and provides a sponsorship commitment form.

3. Meet Vann
A Miracle Child treated at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital
“On December 13, 2008 Vann Makai Edwards was born at 25 weeks gestation.
Vann weighed 1 lb. 13 oz. and was 13.5 inches long. He was our first-born, and
was completely perfect in our eyes. We were scared, had no idea what to
expect, but always remained optimistic. He endured many obstacles, PDA
ligation, bilateral intraventricular hemorrhage, kidney reflux and many various
other issues. After 103 days in the St. Luke’s NICU, we got to bring Vann home
on his actual due date. He weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and clearly a miracle in our
eyes. Vann just turned 4 years old and is a healthy and smart little boy. Our
family feels so blessed and we are determined to help raise awareness and do
what we can to prevent prematurity. Vann received home therapy for the first
2 years of his life, working on his development and catching up to his
gestational age. Vann has been able to grow up without any other health
issues and started kindergarten this past Fall. We feel extremely lucky and
appreciate every day with Vann. He is a normal 6 year old boy who loves to
run, play with friends, and learn at school. The care he received at the St.
Luke’s Children’s Hospital was incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a
better experience. The NICU staff and Vann’s specialty physicians hold a
special place in our hearts and we are forever grateful for what they have
done for us. The helped us turn a bad situation into an amazing journey!”
