Weekend Retreats
Our weekend retreats takes place from
Friday to Sunday. Veterans will experience
a community of support from fellow vets
as well as civilians, people committed and
willing to listen to the vets’ stories with
compassion and confidentiality and without

Our Programs
Warrior Family Hearts
Our couples program. Participants will
learn about the effects of PTSD and better
understand how Post Traumatic Stress can
strain a relationship. They will leave with
tools to compassionately manage their
relationship, build more intimacy and
form a deeper bond.
Annual Retreat Week
Veterans who attend this week-long
retreat have an opportunity to do
emotional healing work and to get some
R&R. In the beautiful environment of a
Camp, nature and a community of friends
will help veterans heal their hearts, minds
and souls.
We all need support at some point in our
lives. You can show your support for our
veterans by donating at this event or on

The event begins at 11AM with the Poker
Run. Bikers will ride from one bar to the
next, competing to get the best “poker
hand” possible. Family-friendly music
entertainment will be provided by
Vietnam Vet/DJ James Barnes.

Our Mission
Healing Warrior Hearts is a nonprofit
dedicated to supporting veterans who
have returned from combat. We provide
programs for military personnel and their
families, dedicated to healing the
emotional, moral and spiritual wounds of
war.
Our Programs guide the wounded to the
peace that heals and strengthens their
hearts. The gathering of community, un-
conditional love and the absence of
judgment create the safety required for
healing to occur.
Military personnel, veterans and families
come together with civilians in retreats and
other events to tell their stories and heal
their hearts.
These programs are designed, led and
staffed by experienced, committed and
spirit-inspired individuals.
Try A Little Tenderness shirts will be
available for purchase, and as prizes!
Auctioneer Bill Betthauser will conduct a
live family auction, and the event will
conclude with the Flag Retirement
Ceremony, performed by American Legion
Post 18 with Boy Scout Troop 11.
The event will also include the ceremonial
presentation of the colors by the American
Legion Riders, and a Family Raffle!
