2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex closed up 0.12% @ 18,021.16 pts; Nifty raised 0.08% @ 5435.35 pts.
France’s CAC down 0.59%, Britain’s FTSE down 0.04%, & DAX down 0.34%.
Nasdaq raised 0.32% while Dow Jones Industrial Average raised 0.07%.
Sensex gained 21.13 pts @18,021.16 and Nifty went up 4.35 pts to 5,435.35. The
upmove in banking majors, capital goods, PSU oil & gas, technology help the market
to move up. Inflation for Aug, which will be announced tomorrow, is another major
event for tomorrow session. Globally the European markets were marginally lower.
