2. MARKET WRAP
Sensex raised 0.21% @18,713.55 pts; Nifty raised 0.20 % @ 5,687.25 pts.
NASDAQ was down 0.17 %, Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.02 %.
Britain’s FTSE , Germany’s DAX & France’s CAC were up 0.49% - 1.34 %.
Sensex up 38.37 pts @18,713.55 while Nifty raised 11.20 pts @ 5687.25. Today Indian
shares closed flat to higher after recouping losses in afternoon trade following positive
European cues. Inflation came in at 7.81 % for the September, which was slightly higher
compared to 7.55 % in August due to hike in diesel price by Rs 5 a litre in last month.
