This document discusses two crowd-sourcing frameworks, Cybermappr and PyBossa, that can be used for damage assessment after disasters. It notes that Cybermappr was developed with PyBossa and EpiCollect to allow mobile and web-based smartphone data collection with GPS coordinates. The document proposes using these frameworks to have volunteers submit photos and videos of affected buildings during and after earthquakes to provide researchers with valuable damage assessment resources.
