• Managing all quarry activities in Sinai & While Cement Companies (~8,000 ton limestone
& 2,000 ton clay/day) and Tourah Cement Co. (~13,000 limestone + 3,500 ton clay/day).
• Responsible for the training programs for the new quarry staff and 2nd
line managers.

Feb. 1994 - June 1999:
COMPANY: Arab Swiss Engineering Company "ASEC Engineering" was established on 1975, as the first
joint venture between Egyptian Cement Companies and Holderbank. It all started to
introduce the advanced technology of the Holderbank group to Egypt. ASEC was providing
consultancies and engineering for cement plants and conducting raw material investigation.
In 1987 and 1996 ASEC started its first technical assistance and technical management
services. By year 2000, ASEC was managing ~ 60% of the Egyptian cement production. In
2000 ASEC acquired Helwan Cement Co. From 1989 – 2011 ASEC established 6 subsidiary
companies "ARESCO", "ASENPRO", "ASEC Automation", "ASCOM", "ARTEC" and
"ASEC Holding Co."
