Innovative Ideas/achievements:
Here is a few examples
• Lead/coaching Implementation of Hout field study outcome during drilling the first
data acquisition well (out of 3-planned wells) where started with several challenges
for data collection; a- Hammered the 30” conductor by Rig to replace the damaged
old conductor, b- Cured losses in Tayarat formation using Therma-set technology, c-
Cored shallow reservoirs (Gudiar, Rumaila, Mishrif & Ahmadi) for the first time in
KJO, d- Recorded LWD Log, recorded reservoir pressure using Baker Fast Track
LWD tool, e- The hole was open for more than 2-1/2 months till run 13-3/8” CSG., f-
Extended the casing point to ± 6200 ft instead of 2000 ft as per the field historical
data and Run and cemented 13-3/8” casing successfully
• Performed a review for the old HPHT proposed well in Khafji & Doraa fields.
• Performed a detailed assessment study for redevelopment of suspended oil field to
check the feasibility of re use the existing old well (37 Wells) with conclusion and
recommendations for Field re-development program. Jan. 2014.
• Lead/coaching Halliburton (LSTK team) handling Aramco Lump sum/Turn Key
project to achieve the contract year (2nd
year) objective with minimum NPT –
(Delivered 30 wells + 200 Days + 27,000 Extra ftg) I.e 36 wells + Extra ftg. Exceed
the contract year planned delivering -30 wells per year.
• Initiated and implemented several ideas for curing Loss of circulation in Waha oil
company fields-Libya, in Hellenic exploratory wells in Egypt.(western Desert); and
SOC-Libya. (2006-2011).
• Initiated the ZERO emission (OIL & GAS) without introducing new equipment to the
existing clean-out package while clean-up and production testing of ZADCO well
since Dec. 2000 up to date.
• Introduction of LWD to replace the Wire line logging. (Dec. 2000 up to Date).
• Abandonment of Arzanah Field in Offshore Abu Dhabi…Total 24 wells, Saved 39
Rig days out of 200 Days (total project Days). (1998-1999)
• Introduction of Enzyme treatment to remove the Water base mud cake and enhance
Acid stimulation, There is no accessibility means for each individual lateral/branch
since 1997 up to date.
• Utilization of Pip Tag marker to correlate using MWD to set Whip/Anchor stock and
eliminated wire line operation. (USD$15 K/Well) since 1996 up to date.
(ZADCO/ADMA-OPCO Drilling operation).

Gentlemen,
Sorry to be late on my Congratulations to the team on delivering 30 wells for the second contract period of LSTK. This new computer
is getting the best of me so far.
As of February 26th, we delivered our 30 well requirement to Aramco. Considering how we started the period with 30% NPT in
February and March 2011, I am sure many of us weren’t sure we would get there but we did. In addition, we delivered over 200
additional out of scope days, this is equivalent to 6 more wells for the year. Our average NPT for 2011 was 12.1% compared to
Aramco’s 11.1% but this does not tell the whole story. Our average NPT for the last 9 months was 6.7% compared to Aramco’s
11.5% and we delivered 5.5 % in February. This is truly an outstanding achievement, one we should all be proud of.
In addition, I would also like to recognize the LSTK team and Sino Team specifically for achieving more than 24 months without a
recordable incident. Another truly outstanding achievement. DSV’s, please congratulate the Sino teams on location on my behalf.
We will be out very soon to congratulate them in person.
Here are a few statistics for this contract period to remember:
Total Footage Drilled 293,553 ft.
Total Extra Footage 25,463 ft.
Out of Scope Days >200
Let’s pause for a moment of silence to celebrate ……………………………………………………………………………then we need
to move on to the third year. Seriously, I will be traveling around in the near future to congratulate all of you for your contribution.
Congratulations once again, this is truly a team effort and it is being recognized by Aramco and Halliburton.

  • 7. Gentlemen, Sorry to be late on my Congratulations to the team on delivering 30 wells for the second contract period of LSTK. This new computer is getting the best of me so far. As of February 26th, we delivered our 30 well requirement to Aramco. Considering how we started the period with 30% NPT in February and March 2011, I am sure many of us weren’t sure we would get there but we did. In addition, we delivered over 200 additional out of scope days, this is equivalent to 6 more wells for the year. Our average NPT for 2011 was 12.1% compared to Aramco’s 11.1% but this does not tell the whole story. Our average NPT for the last 9 months was 6.7% compared to Aramco’s 11.5% and we delivered 5.5 % in February. This is truly an outstanding achievement, one we should all be proud of. In addition, I would also like to recognize the LSTK team and Sino Team specifically for achieving more than 24 months without a recordable incident. Another truly outstanding achievement. DSV’s, please congratulate the Sino teams on location on my behalf. We will be out very soon to congratulate them in person. Here are a few statistics for this contract period to remember: Total Footage Drilled 293,553 ft. Total Extra Footage 25,463 ft. Out of Scope Days >200 Let’s pause for a moment of silence to celebrate ……………………………………………………………………………then we need to move on to the third year. Seriously, I will be traveling around in the near future to congratulate all of you for your contribution. Congratulations once again, this is truly a team effort and it is being recognized by Aramco and Halliburton.
