Summary of duties
 Provide all relevant information to program and project managers on time

 Assist in identifying and assessing water supply systems, sanitation and hygiene
infrastructure as well as other constructions (ware houses, shelters etc.) to be
constructed, rehabilitated and maintained.
 Prepare required construction design including schematics, detailed bill of quantities
(BOQs), and budget estimates
 Initiate regular consultation with Region, Zone and Woreda Water departments on
project activities and technical issues
 Prepare detail construction activity plans for respective projects
 Design construction monitoring, supervision and reporting tools
 Monitoring and evaluate all construction projects, revise plans, designs and strategy
as required
 Supervision of all construction project activities
 Ensure all the constructions under the projects are with the highest quality standard
and free from technical defects
 Properly monitor and confirm the quality and quantity of delivery of both local and
industrial materials supplied by suppliers

• Conduct regular construction supervision works, check and endorse payment certificates
for construction projects.
