The King Abdul Aziz Road Project is a mega-project measuring 3.5Km from the outskirts of Makkah to the Grand
Holy Mosque. The project includes 209 plots along a central pedestrian spine that will alleviate the chaotic pilgrim
activity currently experienced during Hajj.

The Border Guard has revealed that work has begun on reinforcing basic security infrastructure on the country’s
southern border.

4. Jeddah South Thermal Power Plant, September 2013 - Present
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 1.1 Billion SR.
Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI), the world’s biggest shipbuilder and a leading industrial plant EPC
contractor, announced that the Company won a USD 3.3 billion order from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for
Jeddah steam Power Plant (JSTPP) in Saudi Arabia. HUTA is subcontractor for the Project offshore scope.

 S/W Intake Bridge (250 m length and 35 m width, consists of pre stressed U beam girder and top slab).

Dammam Port Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 220 Million SR.
EPC contract has been signed with Zamil Offshore Services Company to build a new shipyard on a large reclaimed
area inside King Abdul-Aziz Port in Dammam.
The new shipyard is designed to accommodate the building and repair of all types of vessels within its ship-lift
capacity; offshore support vessels, harbor service craft, yachts, naval vessels and offshore structures including rigs
and platforms.
The shipyard will be equipped with a modern ship lift capable of handling vessels up to 7500 tons in weight.

The new layout includes the construction of nine dry berths to enable the yard to build and repair nine vessels
simultaneously as well as providing versatile facilities and workshops for extensive fabrication and outfitting.
The overseas design provider is TRITON from Greece and consultancy provider is HAMZA associates from Egypt.

10. Qurayyah Independent Power Plant - Marine Works, March 2011 - August 2013
Dammam, Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 215 Million SR.
Qurayyah IPP project called for building a 4000-megawatt combined-cycle thermal power plant, the world’s
largest to date, in cooperation with Saudi Arabians’ largest developer ACWA power, and SAMSUNG C&T. HUTA
has been participating in the project the initial design stage.
HUTA is a full EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contractor responsible for all tasks design to
procurement through actual construction. The overseas design provider is Sargent and Lundy (S&L) from
Chicago and consultancy provider is Fichtner from Germany.

11. Two Deep Berths. Dammam Port, March 2013 - Present
Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 190 Million SR.
HUTA is the EPC Marine contractor for the Two New Berths Project; the marine works mainly comprise
construction of two quay walls to support two new deep water berths (38 and 39) in King Abdul Aziz Port (KAP),

Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both of the proposed quay walls are 19.0m high and 300m long and will be
constructed using reinforced concrete blocks between the existing caissons at north and south of the walls.
The engineering services provided by COWI comprise studies, concept design and detailed design, including
geotechnical assessment of the subsurface site conditions.

2. Qurayyah Combined Cycle Power Plant - Marine Works, February 2010 - June 2013
Dammam, Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 360 Million SR.
Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has implemented Qurayyah Combined Cycle Power Plant, approximately 100 km
south of Dammam. The project comprises 15 GE frame 7FA gas turbines, which will be operated in open cycle
configuration in a first phase. In phase two the project will be extended to a combined cycle power plant consisting of
5 blocks, three gas turbines, related heat recovery boilers and 1 steam turbine each. 3,200 MW Qurayyah Combined
Cycle Power Plant being constructed adjacent to the existing Qurayyah l Power Plant to meet the future load
demand and to support the existing generation capability in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. HUTA is the EPC
marine contractor for QCCPP Project. The overseas design provider is Sargent and Lundy (S&L) from Chicago and
consultancy provider is Lahmeyer from Germany.
 Scope of Work
 Dredging of Inner & Outer Basin in addition to Outfall area (800,000 M3).
 Construction of Intake basin with breakwater (205mx300m) with an inlet of 52 Nos. of GRP pipes 2m
diameter.

 Responsibilities and Duties
 Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
 Develop, analyze and forecast project cost reports and determine the status of the jobs in terms of
scheduling and costing.
 Develop and update project schedules, communicate these schedules and resource requirements to
Operation Managers and Asset Manager for planning purposes.
 Instill a positive working relationship with the client and client engineer.
 Conduct project meetings.
 Oversee the procurement of material purchases and prepare purchase requisitions.
 Procure subcontractors required to execute project. Negotiate scope of work, costs, payment terms
and complete subcontractor agreements.
 Develop and submit all project submittals for client approval in bidding of work.
 Follow all company Health and Safety Programs, and supports a safe work environment.
 Identify and resolve issues conflicts within the project team.
 Review drawings and table of quantities to ensure adequacy of the implementation of the entire work
and raise them to the point of the service after review with the projects management and Executive
with the preparation of revised tables.
 Consultation with the Project Manager to prepare a program of the operational work of the project
including the number and type of work teams, dates of initial start in the business, determine the
starting point of starting work on the basis of the estimated quantities specified for the project and
the duration of the work available and the possibilities for action by the company and determine the
need for the outside when necessary.

 Managing the employees and workers in the project, determine the fronts of daily work in advance,
follow-up audit of the course of the distribution of work tasks for a Technical Assistant.
 Follow-up the Productivities daily of the equipment, personnel and work daily and monthly
comparison between the main business of the work executed by the Department of the
programming, monitoring and implementing agencies are informed of this and the reprogramming of
the project according to the possibilities.
 Coordination with the workshops management on the request for equipment or repairing orders.
 Preparing the monthly invoices and adoption of a supervision and distribute.
 Coordination with various government departments related to the project or that have the services
and require them to take permits or renewal of such permits.
 Make sure to follow the proper methods for implementation and the safety of the work done.
 Preservation and documentation of documents and correspondence for each project.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 130 Million SR.
 Scope of Work
 Development Marinas and service jetty. The work included several major activities from Dredging (Around
1,000,000 M3), concrete shoreline walls (Around 1 Km), Sand Beaches(Around 3Km), Rip Rap
Revetments(Around 2Km), Fisherman and leisure harbor floating docks Marina with all required services and
utilities, Boat hoist, Boat Ramp and the Coast Guard offshore jetty (on piles).
King Abdullah University for Science and February 2007 - February 2010
Technology project (KAUST), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Contract Value: 650 Million SR.
 Scope of Work
 Dredging of Channel & Harbor (2,000,000 M3).
 Construction of Steel sheet piles shoreline walls (Around 3 Km).
 Reinforced concrete bored piles (More than 2000 piles).
 Construction of Concrete Shoreline block wall (around 8 Km).
 Construction of Revetments and Rip Rap Shoreline protection (Around 4Km).
 Reinstatement of slope protection.
 Construction of Two Seawater Intake Pump station (50mx30m & 90mx40m, depth 9m below Seawater), One
for the University desalination plant and the other for the academic building water circulation.
 Construction of vehicular Bridge No.1 (100mx40m) linking the University to the Island).
 Construction of Sea Court Bridge (100mx50m) above Seawater linking the two major Academic Buildings.
 Installation of double line, Diameter 1200 mm GRP Pipes linking the desalination plant to the Seawater
intake pump station (Around 4 Km).
 Installation of three line offshore HDPE Pipes(Underwater), Diameter 1200mm linking the Pump Station to
the underwater intake Mouths as well as to the discharge Mouth (Around 7 Km).
 Construction of several lift Stations.
 Construction of South Marina. The work included construction of Shoreline Block Wall, Revetments, Floating
Docks Marina with Relative services and accessories, Boat Hoist and Boat Ramp.

 Responsibilities and Duties
 Manage and supervise the Subcontractors / Site Engineers.
 Ensure that all construction works are undertaken to required designs, specifications, standards and QHSE
requirements.
 Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
 Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
 Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
 Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
 Monitor site progress including installation of required equipment against accepted programs and 2-4 week

 Responsibilities and Duties
 Supervise and Observe the Foremen and labor Force, and make sure the works are as per the approved
shop drawings and up to the quality standard, and to the satisfaction of the consultant; and are completed on
the scheduled time with the least amount of cost and minimal wastage of Materials.
 Set out, level and survey of the site, and check drawings and quantities and ensure the accuracy of
calculations.
 Mark out the site, and make sure designs are applied correctly and liaise with the Construction Manager.
 Schedule, plan the physical works and activities and initiate materials ordering on time to keep the works in
progress and avoid delay.
 Organize the process so that deadlines are met.
 Organize and supervise materials and Labors.
 Act as day-to-day manager of the construction site activities, and be the main source of technical advice and
quality control for everyone working on site.
 Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
 Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
 Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the Client/Consultant.
