2001 to 2002
Responsible for the commissioning of viable new titles and the management of
them from 'cradle to grave'. Managed new and existing business with revenue of
£3.1m. Responsible for 3 members of staff. Undertook several TV appearances
with BBC World News, BBC News 24 & Sky News. Responsibility for project
management for titles, liaising with authors, copy editors, designers, photographers,
printers, sales & marketing teams etc to ensure success of each project. Reason
