A natural leader with passion for developing winning teams, Edward Martinez brings solutions to his
clients with a reliable and relational approach. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, Edward believes that,

practice and branding it with his personality and energy, Edward believes that nothing will be
accomplished without a foundation of drive and determination. This mentality has led him to success
throughout his career and now in his role at Lucas Group.
Edward began his career in the Oil & Gas business sector as an account manager with Clean Harbors,
the world’s largest refining company. Wanting to capitalize and seize the opportunity of a profession that
utilizes his consultative skills, Edward turned to Lucas Group and joined the Sales & Marketing practice in
2016. In his position, Edward works closely with mid-tier to Fortune 500/1000 corporations, specifically
within the oil & gas, chemical and industrial industries, to capture the talent his clients need to lead
initiatives, bring value and ultimately drive success. Being trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese
gives Edward a broader range of expertise and allowed him to communicate across various nationalities.
He is able to help navigate candidates toward opportunities and clients toward game-changing, lucrative
talent. Combining his love for sales together with his motivation and perseverance, Edward is driven to
make a name for himself in the executive recruiting industry.
A former collegiate nationally-ranked tennis champion, the sport has helped mold Edward both personally
and professionally, building character and competitive drive that shows daily. He still continues to be
active in various sports and enjoys reading, running and fitness. Edward holds a bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration and a Master’s of Business Administration from Howard Payne University in
Texas.
