One of the most difficult part of a KL MRT with Top-down
structure in the limestone stratum, no such construction had
been done before this shaft in this country. The contractor had
to build it with his own very detail plans and non-experienced
work force.

This project acceptably valued more than US$350 million which
was almost 20% higher than the tender bid. This project
includes 2 MRT stations, 2 MRT TBM tunnels and many duct
tunnels of various diameters of 0.7m~4.6m, all are TBM or
Jacking pipe. One of the station is famed as the most beautiful
Taipei MRT station.

grade station
This was a JV project of CEC and Taisei (Japan), project amount
was US$120 million. 1,600+pcs of pre-bored precast piles, high
quality exterior claddings and interior decorations. Roof
cladding spans 83m of steel frames supported only by two
columns.
