a. Management Experience. Besides management at different tiers during 25
years of my service in the Army, I have the unique three years experience of
successful management and development of human, material as well as
financial resources in Corporate Environment of Defense Housing Authority. It
included task / project accomplishment, risk assessment and management,
performance management, career planning, training and development and
financial management.
b. Security Expert. I am Intelligence Staff Course qualified. I have vast
experience in development and implementation of effective security plans for
personnels, establishments/organizations and Cantonments. It included
gathering intelligence, evolving/coordinating security plans with Police, IB, MI,
ISI and Divisional/District Administration. Remained “Focal Person” for liaison
and coordination between Army and Civil Administration for implementation of
security plans. While in Service in DHA Karachi, I have been taking good care
of security of Educational Institutions for last three years.
c. Orientation of Karachi.Having spent more than 10 years of my service here at
Karachi, I have detailed orientation of local situation. It included Internal
Security Duties, Monitoring Duties, and Intelligence Duties. During three years
of command at Malir, I was in charge of Leyari Town whereas Defense and
Korangi were my stand by tasks. During this period I got detailed orientation of
these areas. As a job requirement of my last appointment of Grade 1
Intelligence Officer at Malir (2010-2012), I have remained actively involved in
analysis and evolving solutions about socio-political dynamics of Karachi and its
volatile Law and Order situation. Now for last three years, I have been working
in DHA Karachi as Additional Director and remained well abreast with local Law
&Order and Socio-Political environments.
