necessary to achieve success. After serving with the British Army, I am currently employed as a technical service
representative. A demanding role which requires a specific skill set I have learnt and developed along the way. Now
seeking a new career environment with new challenges and experiences. Communication, organization and

2012- Current FibaTech Industries
I am currently employed as a technical service representative. For FibaTech industries, an international leading
manufacturer and supplier of GRP cladding products. As a technical service representative my duties and
responsibilities are varied in nature. From writing and interpreting specific project and product technical,
specifications. To supervising and inspecting application of products on site. I also plan and present product training
when required. I have worked in various environments with numerous personal and nationalities , across Europe and
Asia. In the last two years I have been working on rotation between South Korea and the UK. Being the focal point,
leading a small inspection team and managing company interests. On projects for BP and Stat oil two of the world’s
leading integrated oil and gas companies .
2007-2012 The British Army , The 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment.
For 5 years I have served in The Parachute Regiment, the most demanding of infantry units, here key individual
skills were learnt and tested under high stress environments, these include organisation, communication and
leadership skills as well as a high level of physical fitness, determination and self-initiative being demanded on a daily
basis. I was often asked to perform tasks and responsibilities above my rank and experience demonstrating my
value to the platoon.
2005-2007 Somerset Active Sports Partnership.
I worked part time with SASP a council funded organisation to aid high quality sports coaching into schools. I worked
both individually and as part of a team to plan and perform entertaining high quality sports lessons this gave me a
great insight into grass roots sports and a local council scheme
2004-2007. The City Arms, Wells.
Part time work in a busy pub restaurant despite young age it wasn't long before I was entrusted with team leading,
money handling and banking responsibilities.
Interests
For as long as I can remember sport and specifically basketball has been my passion playing at all levels from the
school yard to international trials more recently fitness has become a personal obsession with a constant
determination to perform better. Travel is also another passion and experiencing other cultures because of this I
have been inspired to learn new languages, Spanish and French which I found a challenging but evoking task.

Pte Diligent joined the Army in September 2008. He completed the arduous Parachute Regiment training selection
at the Infantry training centre (Catterick) and was subsequently posted to 3rd
battalion The Parachute Regiment.
During his military career Diligent has been deployed on operations in Afghanistan from 2010-2011 and was
awarded the operational service medal a with Clasp, and more recently Operation OLYMPICS in the UK. Diligent has
the experience of taking part in various training exercises around the UK and overseas in Kenya and France,
providing he is able to thrive when working in ardours conditions for long hours.
Diligent began his career in the Battalion as a rifleman, serving as part of an eight man team and was trained in
several complex weapons systems and communications equipment. After 2 ½ years Diligent was chosen to move to
the Motor Transport Platoon where more responsibilities to support over 600 personal as part of a small team.
Diligent is a keen sportsman enjoying fitness and basketball, which he plays to a very high level, representing the
army in the competitive inter services competition.
Pte Diligent has taken an enthusiastic interest in his personal development throughout his career by completing a
number of courses to aid him whilst in the Army, these include: vehicle servicing, Team Medic, BTEC level 2 in
security and acquiring categories C+E, D,D1 driving licences. This has made him highly employable during his tenure
in the battalion.
Pte Diligent is very keen, polite, fit, and hard working. He is a pleasure to have working as part of the team and
adapts to changing environments very well. Throughout his career he has shown loyalty to his colleagues,
commanders and The Parachute Regiment even to the last day of service.
Pte Diligent has proven himself to be a keen and competent individual. He has constantly demonstrated a high level
of commitment and dedication throughout his 5 year career. He would have gone through the ranks with
promotions had he not chosen to leave the Army. His acquired skills and experience, which together with his
friendly, hardworking character, and his ability to quickly master new skills, make him a very versatile individual for
future employment outside the Army.
