PERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Spray painting: Inspect, clean and prepare items to be sprayed; remove rough spots and
prepare the surface; treat the surface, apply undercoat; mix and
prepare stain/paint for application; check quality and depth of spray
work; apply finishing coat using spray gun or polish with hand.
Colour mixing: Inspects colour uniformity and rectifies defects; examine outer surface
or irregular colouring to ensure quality control; mixes colouring
solutions until matching colour is obtained.
Practical and manual ability: Able to visualise a desired outcome and apply practical skills, abilities and
experience to achieve the desired outcome. Able to follow instruction and
complete job cards according to specifications. I am able to stand or bend
for long periods of time. I possess normal colour vision and have good hand-
eye co-ordination. No allergies or breathing problems.
Creative flair: Apply innovative thinking and colour mixing methods to attain the desired
outcome. Imaginative, social, innovative, aesthetic, visualising and
designing; attention to detail.
