and dismantling tower scaffolds, using tools and equipment general H&S awareness skills on
construction sites.

 Completed a project on steel stress over strain testing. The objective was to determine the tensile
strength properties of steel, to understand the stress over strain relationship in steels and to
establish its conformance to Hooke’s Law. To finalise the project was to prepare a technical report
to discuss the findings obtained.
 Completed engineering surveying project aimed at acquiring the practical skills in surveying.
Areas covered were: setting up an automatic level, two peg testing, measuring and process height
data and citing reference and using appropriate standards.

Completed a project on designing, producing a prototype and the construction of the self-propelled car,
which must be to travel on it’s on to a distance of 2m and be able to stop. In addition, technical report
