Work experience of over 4 years in CLSA from January 2012 – January 2016.
Responsibilities:
 Worked as Production Support Analyst in various Front Office applications (Jan’12 – Jan’16)
 Good experience in UNIX/LINUX, ORACLE SQL, PLSQL production/Application Support.
 Worked extensively in UNIX Shell Scripting development.
 Acquired in depth knowledge of banking applications technical as well as functional knowledge.

Role – IT Support Analyst (July 2013 – January 2016)
Projects:
 NOSS & NOSS2 (Instrument management System) – NOSS is the master repository for instruments in
CLSA and acts as instrument data source for the OMS, Execution systems and Algorithm systems.
Instrument system processes the data files from Reuters, Bloomberg and exchange files using TIBCO
workflows and fed into Instrument System DB. NOSS2 is newly developed project for instrument system
which handles instrument information for more than 60 markets.
 Sales Trading (Reporting applications) – It is a suite of 36 different applications developed in a range of
languages which is being used across CLSAby Sales traders/dealers,Business for reporting purpose. The
reporting applications include web applications as well as in-house developed tools. Some Major
technologies used are Java, ASP.net, Liferay, Web Methods, JSP, Struts, TIBCO Spotfire and VBA Macro.
Responsibilities:
 Help to verify new releases and provide post implementation support.
 Configure, Package and deploy vendor applications.
 Provide insights to continuous improvements and innovation to improve efficiency and increasing
productivity.
 Scheduling and deployment of new releases to test and production environment.
 Independently taken handover from Development team for a number of applications.
 Independently developed and maintained many macros to provide business solutions to various issues.
 Understanding end to end flow, technology, configuration as well as deployment of every application.
 Get the requirement from users for various new reports, to develop and release accordingly.
 Conducted Knowledge transfer for other team members/ colleagues around the globe.
Role – Graduate Engineering Trainee (June 2012 – June 2013)
Projects:
 Viper Dealing Platform (Trading application) – It is an in-house Dealing Platform, which is being used
across CLSAby dealers for Equity Trading. This application has interface with market gateways for different
exchanges in APAC Region and with CLSA Algo strategies. Same Platform is used as order management
System for DSA flow.
 Market Gateways - Primarily SunGard GL Trade Product is used for exchange connectivity in CLSA. There
are two basic components, SLE for Order/Executions flow to/from exchange and SLC for market data.
 Orders Management System (OMS) - SunGard GL OMS is used as order management in CLSA for the
Agency flow. The application is used for sales trader for monitoring and allocation of their client orders.
Application acts as communication interface between Sales Trader and Dealers during the life cycle of client
order.OMS application provides the executions data to back office system for clearing and settlement.
Responsibilities:
 Actively involved in change and release management.
 Work with other teams to ensure that all systems have the same securityinformation and the flow is working
fine.
 Work with Global business IT and projects teams to ensure seamless support for the business.
 Worked in the capacity of Support Specialist with skill developed ranging from analyzing, problem solving,
developing, testing and implementation of software skills.
 Resourceful Team Player and capable of delivering task with stringent timelines.
Role – Graduate Intern (January 2012 – May 2012)

 Timesheet & Employee ReferralManagement System (TERMS) - TERMS is a new system which is used
to maintain employee information regarding their timesheets. It also takes data from JIRA system to update
their respective time given to different projects. It has another feature where employees can refer people
from outside for open positions in the organization.
