Radiation Laboratory Environment’
The aim of my thesis was to improve and develop of radiation laboratory experiments in Physics
undergraduateand postgraduatephysicsLaboratoriesat UCD.Theprocess resulted inimprovementstothe
lab manuals, procedures, results and equipment used for experiments in all stages of radiation and nuclear

MSc year group project: ’The complete design, build and launch of UCD First ever Cansat Launch’

I was a "Prefect & Mentor" from 4th to 6th year in secondary school, this required me to guide, look after, and
ensure 4th to 6th year students have a good time and great experience in everyday life in secondary school.
We were responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the group of 4th to 6th year students during the entire
academic year, and during this time I made good friends with all of them.
I was a "Demonstrator and Assistant Teacher" for first year medicine students, this required me to guide, look
after, and ensure first year students learn about the physics aspects of the medicine and medical industry. I
was responsible for showing them how it influences a medical environment. I was responsible for a group of
12 to 18 students during the entire academic year, and during this time I graded and taught them and
showed great leadership skills and influences their medical prospects in their future. All the students were
a joy to teach and I’m still friends with them.
