Work experience
Hawkley hall high- here I worked as a classroom assistant in the art
department. Working here helped build my confidence as I was in a new environment and didn’t know anybody. It
also showed me that teaching requires strength of character so I had applied this characteristic to myself. My role
during work experience mainly involved assisting the teacher in art classes and passing on some of my skills and
techniques.
Babysitting I have frequently childminded for people at the weekends.
The trust put on me to look after someone’s child is a great responsibility. It makes me feel proud to think that I
have earned this level of trust and believe I have achieved this by demonstrating a mature and measured
approach.
Skills
My skills include being able to multitask under pressure and being able to communicate with people of all ages. I
am also able to keep calm in tough situations and not panic when things get out of hand or become intense. I can
work up to deadlines and can work well within a team. I am punctual with an excellent record of attendance. I am
also able to adapt to new challenges and I am a self-motivated worker.
