Mohammad Samir Hossain has over 15 years of experience as an independent medical practitioner providing general and mental healthcare. He currently works at Proshanti Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also teaches palliative care part-time at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and previously taught psychiatry full-time at Medical College for Women. Hossain received his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, University of Dhaka. He has published several papers on topics related to death, existence, adjustment to death, and the impacts of religiosity.
