CARREER OBJECTIVE
My interest area comprises civil engineering as a field that improves the society by means of developing new, better
and more sustainable infrastructure. It is the perfect match between engineering, structures and management and the
potential for innovation is unlimited as well as essential to optimize society’s resources.

PROJECTS
2016-01 - 2016-06
Master Thesis
Division of Structural Engineering and Bridges, KTH - Bridge Department, Tyréns
“Evaluation of the 3D dynamic effects induced by high-speed trains on double-
track slab bridges.’’ – Grade: A (KTH) and 10/10 with honours (UPC).
Frequency analysis is an innovative analysis technique that provides a fast way to
solve the equation of motion due to the Fourier transform properties, and allows
the application of several load configurations.
The purpose of this project was to evaluate the minimum required cross-sectional
thickness of a slab-bridge with respect to dynamic torsional effects according to
the requirements set by Trafikverket and the Eurocode. Several 3D FE-modelling
analyses in ABAQUS were performed with the corresponding parametric input in
Python and a comprehensive data output analyses in Matlab.
2015-11 Numerical Modelling Course, Civil and Environmental Department, UPC
Report “Reactive transport in soils.” – Grade: 10/10.
In this report I studied the evolution in time of the solute concentration. This
concentration can be affected during transport through the soil and chemical
reactivity of the solute considered. I developed a Matlab code which implemented
the finite element method. The flow was assumed to be steady and follow Darcy’s
law. To represent the phenomenon equation convection-dispersion was used.
2014-01 – 2014-06 Materials Science Department (RMEE), UPC
Bachelor Thesis “Development of an application for imposing the boundary conditions induced by a
wave generator in a finite elements code.” – Grade: 8/10.
The purpose of the thesis was the development and validation of an application for
imposing the boundary conditions induced by a wave generator. This was done
within the finite element computational fluid dynamic application of the Kratos code,
an open source software to reproduce, analyse and solve engineering problems.
Characteristics of the incoming wave were transformed into boundary velocities.
Simulations were performed in GiD (FE-software), using parametric Python files.
Validation of the numerical wave flume was carried out simulating different regular
wave’s boundary conditions and comparing the numerical results with physical test
data on physical wave flumes.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Professional working proficiency in ABAQUS, PYTHON and MATLAB.
Experience in other FE-software such as GiD and perfect level of AutoCAD.
MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point.
Good knowledge of Latex.
PERSONAL ASPECTS
My colleagues say I am a flexible and reliable person. I am also very dedicated to my work and I like travelling, meeting
new people and learning about other cultures. This is the reason why I decided to study one year abroad in Sweden.
I like working in a team because I think that you can learn a lot from the others and each one contributes with a different
point of view to a common solution. I am good in collaborating not only in projects but also in sport teams.
Basketball, football, padel and tennis are my favourite sports. I have always competed in running races, from school
races when I was a kid to last year half-marathon. I also love trekking in the mountains like Posets (11,072 feet).
WORK EXPERIENCE
2016 Tyréns AB, Stockholm, Sweden
