Konstantinos Antypas
Civil Engineer
PERSONAL SUMMARY
Since 2002 I'm a certified civil engineer but recently I came to believe that engineering to
me is not just a profession but determines my whole way of living. I run a technical office
working mostly on ordinary constructions of reinforced concrete. Structural studies,
architectural drawings, supervisions, renovations, building permissions process and
construction legalization are my common engineering activities. Safety, functionality and
aesthetics form the frame within I'm working.
Alongside my profession, I started a project named e-stats (basketball statistics) in 2010,
an achievement that I'm most proud of. Sadly, I realized soon enough that playing
basketball wasn't something I was good at. But let's face it, capturing a game down into
numbers is an engineer's job, and that's where I excel in.
After 15 years, I'm still looking forward to expand my professional limits. Α new experience
is often enough to motivate me.
CAREER HISTORY
Self Employed (Technical Office) – Glyfada, Athens

constructions and civil engineering programs, such as:
Structural studies of ordinary and special constructions
Architectural drawings
Supervision of both structural and architectural works
Renovations
Studying and keeping up with timetables
Budget assessment
Permission processing
Preparing enquiry and order documents

NetPlus Tutorial – Athens
PROFESSOR October 2007 – March 2010
Working for the NetPlus tutorials I was teaching my colleagues how to use FESPA (Finite
Element SPace Analysis - most famous structural software).
737 Military Works Office – Thessaloniki
CIVIL ENGINEER December 2002 – March 2003
During my military service I had the short chance to work for the Military Works Office in
Thessaloniki where I was in charge of editing offer document that included full drawings,
budgets and project schedules.
e-stats.gr – Greece
e-stats.gr OWNER September 2010 – present
E-stats is a project referring to basketball statistics that I started from zero. The aim of the
project is to extend the limits of the statistics in basketball games through developing high
level Microsoft Office Excel. Computer equipment is taken to the basketball courts thus
providing the teams with immediate access to the statistics during the game as well as
afterwards (confidentially) in the website. Until recently I was only working for teams
playing in local championships, but since 2015, I have the chance to work along with teams
playing for national leagues, therefore traveling with the teams all over Greece is among
my duties. Available URL: http://www.e-stats.gr/
