3. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide Basic Health Education for all employees by group teaching,
Individual teaching and postering.
2. Accommodation and catering inspection
3. Non Emergency Medical Responsibility
- Provide Medical Service as Basic Medical Treatments and medical
advisory for all employee
- Provide medical record and medical report to Chief Medical Officer on
site.
- Medical Inventory Management on their station to keep medical
standard include medical equipment and medication
- Provide Basic General practice
4. Emergency Medical Responsibility
- Response to all emergency medical incidents 24 hrs on site.
- Response to all emergency illness of employee on site 24 hrs on site
and provide Basic General medical practice and Advance Life Support.
- Coordinate with Chief Medical Officer on Site or Coordinating Doctor
to transfer the patient from Site to appropriate Hospital
- Emergency Medical and equipment inventory management inclusive
Ambulances Management on Site.
5. Co-operate with Safety personal to acknowledge all employee about Health
and Safety and setup emergency response team onsite
6. Co-ordination of routine (day to day) medical issues and reporting to the site
manager.
7. Where indicated travel to site to escort or review patients and then provide
follow-up management when medevaced. Provide reports back to the site
paramedics, safety supervisor and review either onsite or by telephone each
evacuation.
8. Co-ordinate all training activities in first aid and health related issues at
remote site including but not limited to teaching and skill training of client
site personnel or any third party on-site designated by the client
9. Provide reports to the site manager on all site activities, training of
paramedics, training programs, audits and inspections, health issues and staff
activities.
10. Undertake fortnightly audits and inspections of site as agreed with the Site
Manager and to provide report on relevant findings. This includes: inspection
of the kitchen, lavatories and camp in general.

4. 11. Ensure that food handlers are medically examined before they are employed
and regularly during their employment advise on the disposal of waste
products in the camp, and by especially in control of the safe disposal of
clinical waste testing of the water and maintain the chlorination of the tank
water.
12. Investigate work related injuries and maintain records.
