ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ensure content complies with requirements and assist supervisors through
provision of information and advice.
• Coordinating and reporting on Emergency Drills, weekly General Safety meetings,
bi-weekly catering HSE meetings and monthly Supervisor QHSE meetings.
• Providing Liaison between Operators on site representative and Rig Manager
concerning investigations, safety issues and safety topics as required.
• Assisting with Incident / Accident Investigation, compiling investigation report /
recommendations and submission directly to the Rig Manager.
• Conducting regular and random Work Permit spot checks.
• Conducting regular theoretical and practical training on firefighting / lifesaving
equipment and techniques with all crew members.
• Providing assistance to Rig Manager in ensuring maintenance and operability of all
Emergency Response Equipment.
• Documenting and maintaining all JSA’s and QHSE Data’s records, ensuring crew
members are complying with specified safe working procedures.

through coaching and positive developmental techniques.

• Monitor the efficiency of the permit to work (PTW) system, and Emergency
Response Plans (ERP’s) Drills.
• Review QHSE plan with department heads and LPT. Provide assistance in
Environment issues of sites visited.
• Participate into safety meeting pre-job meetings to assess integrity of process.
• Maintain formal records of activities carried out on visited locations, at the end of
each assignment, ensures a debriefing of finding and final report (with action plan)
is discussed with Department Heads and Managers before leaving the location,
