Project Title Development & Generation Of Micro Gear By Wire Cut EDM Process
Name of Professor Dr. Dipankar Bose
Description The aim of the project is to study the effect of wire cut EDM process
parameter on gear micro geometry using latin hypercube one factor at a
time approach and development of gear productivity. Leica optical
micro scope has been used for measurement of gear micro geometry.
RSM has been carried out for mathematical modeling and hydro
particle swarm optimization has been carried out for process
optimization using R software package.
