2. Career background
1. Worked for Dr. Khoeli and Dr. Kimane as a Data Clerk and Analyst for a research
they were consulted in doing by the Ministry of Health (February, 2015). The
research was about Sexual and Reproductive Health issues concerning
adolescents and young people at Health Centres and clinics in Lesotho.
Responsibilities
Creating the data entry-screens for the collected data.
Cleaning and capturing data from the questionnaires which were used as
data collection tools.
Statistical analysis of the data after being captured into the entry forms.
*It is worth mentioning that I was the team leader of the data clerks.
2. Worked as a Fieldwork Data Collector in the 2014 Lesotho Demographic and
Health Survey from September to December 2014 for the Ministry of Health
Responsibilities
Use of PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) to collect data in the field.
PDAs are the newly designed electronic questionnaires that have replaced
the manual paper questionnaires.
Locating the structures and households in the survey, and completing all
questionnaires suitable for that household
Identifying all eligible respondents in those households
3. Worked as Fieldworker at Advision Lesotho in May 2014
Responsibilities
Collecting data in the field, checking and editing questionnaires after daily
fieldwork throughout the survey.
4. Worked for RAMALELE Data Consultancy (Pty) Ltd from January to December
2014 as a part-time Data Consultant
Responsibilities
Planning of data management within the company
Report writing and data analysing when the company was consulted
5. Worked as a Field Enumerator and Data Clerk at JPM Consultants (Pty) Ltd in
2008
Responsibilities
Collection of data in the field, checking and editing questionnaires after
